About Our Family:
We are a family of five living in Lincoln Park, Chicago. We have twin boys, (almost 8), and a daughter, (6). The boys just started 2nd grade, and our daughter is in 1st grade. We also have two senior dogs. Our kids are energetic and love playing games, sports, and building forts, as well as reading and spending time at the park. In the past, we’ve had full-time nannies who helped with mornings, afternoons, and household tasks like grocery shopping, kids’ laundry, and dinner prep. As the kids have gotten older and started after-school activities (soccer, piano, etc.), our needs have shifted. We’re no longer sure we need full-time support, but we would love afternoon help with pick-ups and drop-offs. On days without activities, we’d like someone who can spend time with the kids at home or take them to the park after school.
Nanny Must be:
We’re looking for someone energetic who can have fun with our little crew. Ideally, they enjoy being outdoors and are up for walks, bike rides, and park playdates. We’d love to find a true partner who not only has fun with the kids but also helps guide them to be polite, thoughtful, and independent (no small task at their age!). We hope to collaborate with them on creating a daily routine that works well for the kids, for you, and for us as parents. Open communication is very important to us, and we’d like to have regular check-ins to make sure things are going smoothly as the year unfolds and the kids grow into new stages of life.
