*We may need sporadic care on the weekends. We would prefer if our nanny has some weekend availability (1-2 days/month) but this is not a requirement.  

About Our Family:

My husband and I are looking for a nanny to primarily take care of our newborn (born in April, nanny to start in July) and our 2 year old son. Mom typically works Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30/5. My husband works in shifts and his schedule fluctuates a bit.

We are Illinois natives. I grew up in Naperville and my husband grew up in Chicago. We have moved around a bit over the last 10 years but are finally back home and settling down. We are looking for a long term nanny for our 2 boys.

We are very family oriented. We like being outdoors as much as possible - going on walks and to different playgrounds.

Our 2 year old likes making music, kicking the soccer ball around outside, helping with cooking, washing dishes, laundry, and sweeping the floor! He loves to have books read to him and listen to his Yoto. We are a no screen time family.

Our newborn is calm tempered. We're still figuring out the rest. He is a breastfed baby. When mom returns back to work, we'll have breastmilk in bottles for him.  

Nanny Must be:

Patient, dependable, reliable, communicative, hard working, insightful, and experienced.  

We have a vehicle for the nanny to transport our children. Our 2 year old ends his school day at 11:30am (half day) or 3pm (full day). Drop off and pick up from school will primarily be handled by parents or grandparents. We would like our nanny to serve as a back up method for school pick up.  

Duties:

Laundry Care For Children

Doing the dishes and keeping the children's play areas tidy

Preparing Meals

Transporting Children (dropping off and picking up children from school, activities, etc.)

Job Requirements:

Excellent References (2 childcare related)

CPR Certified (or willing to become certified)

Clean background check

Up-to-Date drivers license & clean driving record

Must have own car for regular transport of child

Nannies to Love Requirements:

Passion for working with children on a daily basis

Must have patience

Follow the family’s rules & routines

Respect the family’s wishes
