Start Date: As soon as possible: January 2023
Job Duration: Long-term
Children to care for:
4 children ages 8, 11, 13, and 15
Pets:
No
Schedule:
School year:
M- Fr 6:45-8:30am help organize kids for school, get them breakfast, drive to school (8 year old goes to school 20 min from our house)
2-7pm pick up kids from school, help with snacks and homework, carpool to activities. We usually don't need our sitter until 7pm, but plan on paying the full 35 hours to ensure we get someone on the days we do need the help until 7pm.
If the above split schedule isn't feasible we are open to focusing on coverage for the only the afternoon hours, we are willing to do that for the right candidate. Additionally, we can increase those hours to full time (12-7pm) if the candidate is willing to help with laundry and light housekeeping.
Summer:
June 8am-4pm
July and early August are slower for us and I have flexibility to work around our Nanny's schedule. I anticipate not needing as many hours in July, but of course, we will honor the payment of our regular hours for fairness to our Nanny. School starts for me, and the high schoolers in mid-August, so we would return to typical school year hours at that point.
Pay:
$25-$30 an hour depending on experience
Taxes: Yes via Payroll service
Paid Sick Days
Paid Major Holidays
2 weeks paid vacation
About Our Family:
We are a busy group, but we love to spend time together. We have had babysitters, nannies, and for the past seven years, we have invited Au Pair's into our home. We have had great experiences with our child care and as we look to transition away from Au Pair's we hope to find someone who enjoys the unique personalities of all the kids, works well in a fast paced environment, and is willing to roll up her sleeves and be a part of the fun.
